These are called a funny name like "mammalus" or something like that (also sometimes "popcorn" I think?). They are a sign of an impending tornado! So they might actually be real!

They are real and do not mean that a tornado is about to come. There name is mammatus (breast) clouds

cumulonimbus mammatus are the nasty clouds most often associated with severe weather and tornadoes.

Amazing. I've never in my whole life seen cloud formations like that, other than in photos. I wonder if it's a northern-hemisphere thing?
