This kind of stuff really pisses me off. Cops don’t always enforce speed limits, over time we have gotten used to driving over the limit, everywhere! Suddenly, some hot dog cop out to raise some money for his municipality stops someone and the driver get pissed because they have never been stopped before.

Cops use these tasers to satisfy a ‘trigger-happy’ mentality because they can’t use their guns. Maybe if municipalities had the money to actually train police officers properly...

They have the training, it's a personality problem. The new cops are adrenaline junkies, and most of them are willing to admit it.
I got some very good advice from a person in law enforcement. He says to"not say one word at all. When the officer asks for something, just hand it to him/her,say NOTHING". By golly it works. If they try to ask you leading questions and put you into a defensive mode, don't fall for it. You do have the right to remain silent. Use it.

No, it's a problem in their training; they're trained to be bullies. Cops in other countries manage to deal with people without invoking terror. It's part of the culture of Fear that America insists on propagating in its people.
