A video released as part of a lawsuit against police in Millville, Philadelphia, shows an officer forcefully punching a woman in the face four times after he bungled an attempt to arrest her for riding a bike on the sidewalk

Millville, New Jersey. It was Philadelphia police who were upset by the incident.

well ya know! i looked at it twice and it looks to me as if the woman scratched him in the face. like it or not thats just plain stupid. something an idiot, drunk, or drugged person would do. yes she's a woman but did you notice how it took 3 cops to get her under control. yes she's a woman and maybe 1 punch would have been enough to fulfill his egotistical revenge. yes she's a woman. but does that give her the right to attack an officer? I say no it doesn't. if she were a man she would have got her ass kicked and we wouldn't even be commenting on it. Nice clip though!

okay i watched the whole thing this time. he sprayed himself with mace. kinda funny really. BUT if she hadn't pushed him he wouldn't have sprayed himself. I dunno? this is a strange one. the 4 shots to the head WERE a little much. Then the slap at the end... well again a little much. These are the reasons I could never be a cop........ or a drunken / drugged midnight freezing cold bicyclist. I think she will win this one. I've been a bit of a wild one most of my life. I've had a number of run ins with the police. I can honestly say each and every one of them were kind and curtious to me. It's all about attitude and body language. Scratching and hitting is NOT the way to start things off with cops.

color has nothing to do with it. I was raised in S. Atlanta so I consider myself half black. Many of the times I had runins, I was with blacks. It's all about attitude and body language. Yes sir and no sir go a long way with them.
