I heard this from a tennis Mom-friend. She was shocked by what the *kids* were revealing about their lives, friends, families and feelings. Scared her really bad!

Have to wonder if it's a good thing to let them know who-you-are...if you're a parent. It goes back to the olden days of reading diaries and listening in on phone-calls.

I'll show my age and reveal my seriousness about my kids.....I would never have done anything that exposed my personal experiences to anyone (as a teenager) or brought embarrassment or shame to my parents. Nor was I above checking out my children's relationships or over-listening to their phone calls. They're adults now, and they're on their own. But I wou...

But I would not want to be the parent of a young person, now, for anything.
