It is not a matter if you have something to hide or not. It is a matter of principle and ownership of your opinions, rights to privacy and individual freedoms.

Erosion is a treacherous thing. Once you ignore the first stages, it is damned hard to repair. Even places like Clipmarks whch we all enjoy so much could become jeopardized as "those in power" keep chipping away at our rights.
