Well, about 80% or so of America is Christian, and that's lower than it was even 20 years. I'd say that would make us a Christian Nation.

However, this is much different than what this clip is indicating, which is Christians are trying to squeeze out the rest of the religions and Atheism.

I don't see that ever happening, and I'd say Christians have all they can do to keep their numbers from slipping.

True... it is a Christian Nation - in name only. As far as I can tell, this administration has NO idea of Jesus' actual teachings, at least they aren't following them, sadly.

As far as Falwell etc... those guys are nuts. Especially Pat Robertson, I think that poor guy has lost it.

It would be nice to see the administration ACT like Christians, wouldn't it? We'd be out of Iraq, Afghanistan, Somolia, Guantanamo would be closed down... so would Bagram, Khandahar, Abu Ghraib.. yes, it would be nice.

Falwell can not make anyone a Christian only Christ can do that. The preachers cited in that short clip are far from whom I would look to for good Christian leadership. They are vocal, they are visible, they are certainly not humble, and they sure are loud but to say they are leading the way to Christianity is a far strech. In fact I will go on record as saying it is because of many of these TV Evangelists that our nation is loosings its Christian Values. The gospel of Jesus has been replaced with a feel good prosperity message that is more heresy than Christlike.

The so-called Christian Evangelists out there today are mostly all being lead by fallen angels. The biggest of which is the guy with the Purpose Driven Life. None of these guys have the slighest idea what Jesus came here to teach us or they wouldn't be doing what they are doing.
