too bad 25 yr old Jake couldn't have hung on another day, seems he had a lot of people (and animals) that loved him

Dogs are more loyal and devoted than a lot of people!

yes they are merrie. but it is sad as he was such a young man with a young family, think of the distress he caused his poor wife, what a selfish man to do this!

Perhaps a selfish act Silver, but suicide is almost always the result of untreated or poorly treated mental illness.

Another is depression caused by circumstances not necessarily a specific mental illness.

Man's best friend... dead or alive

this is why the dogs are more grateful than cats.

This is just sad, for Jake, his family and his dog.
