You know, part of me really hopes to find out that this was all photoshopped, or staged, or... well, anything other than reality.

I think it's sad that it's probably true. Even more sad that the history of these people has put my mind at least in a state where I believe it. Is there any reason to doubt these are real? Only that I wish them to be fake...

Well unfortunately, Snopes.com says it may be true and apparently a (OVER) reaction to those cartoons depicting the prophet Muhammad.

Come on people, do you really live with you heads in the sand, the picture and the event was true. Please wake up and smell the coffee, or whatever you like smelling in the morning, and realize this is taking place in Europe. WAKE UP!

Someone emailed me thru my blog the following:

Hey,

I did some Googling, and thought I should bring it to your attention.

These pictures were NOT taken during a “Religion of Peace Demonstration" as suggested by the text in this photo gallery. They were taken at a Muslim protest rally outside the Danish embassy in London on February 3, 2006 in response to publication of cartoons regarded as insulting to the Prophet Muhammad in a Danish newspaper.
