Kore7 says: "I will do my best to 'Swift boat' John Murtha," retired Navy Capt. Larry Bailey said at a recent news conference...Just be glad he's warning us this time.... I will be seeing Mr. Murtha Friday...... wonder if these idiots will be around.... should be interesting. I still can't figure out why vietnam vets, who went through all the hell they did, want to help keep this war in Iraq going. I am 110% for the vets serving our country. But they don't deserve to be put in harms way for a freaking country that doesn't care about the US. Murtha is right in bringing the troops home. They all deserve to be home with their families. Not being pawns in this game orchestrated by the Bush Administration. Tell us how it goes tomorrow, RM. If you get to talk to Murtha, ask him what he plans to do about these character assassins. And pass on his comment to us. Keep in mind just how many actaul cases of war crimes there were in Vietnam... http://clipmarks.com/clipmark/C8B4F61C-9410-4B47-8B4B-8EFED8206F2D/ The swiftboaters should each be investigated. Some are likely guilty. I got to see Mr. Murtha for about 5 minutes as he stopped by our tradeshow booth. Did not feel appropraite to bring up any of the issues switboaters are calling. I simply said thanks for supporting all the hardwork he has done in congress. As long as you've told him what's what rmowery - you did your citizen duty. As for the distinguished representative who was a nobody in terms of accomplishments around the country until he decided to accuse our Marines of that they haven't been officially convicted off as if they had - shame on him. He's been to war, he should know better than to accuse someone so publically, without the due course of the law and presume that these boys are guilty before the trial and its outcome. Shame on him! Especially when events like this happened. And here's what Washington Times had to say on the man. RS, Are you saying Haditha didn't happen? I suppose My Lai didn't either, did it? No, what I'm simply saying is that there are charges that have been brought up against some of our men. The presumption of innocence is still such in the US, is it not? So, I'm saying that let the investigators do their work, trial take place, judgement dealt and THEN, and ONLY THEN, let's start condeming anyone for their actions. Especially, for a public official like Murtha. If the guys accused of this are found guilty - I'll be the first in line to condemn them... but they haven't been found guilty at this point and there's absolutely no reason why anyone should be jumping the gun on the issue for whatever his motivations are. Read the [url=/clipmark/BC272526-7C3B-4E24-B1DC-F3036100E... RS, are you being deliberately naive? Until Murtha made these charges, the military was trying to sweep this under the rug. Kore - finally go the pics from the tradeshow I was at and the one with Murtha at our booth. http://picasaweb.google.com/rmowery/ArmTechTradeshow2006KittanningPA Hey, right on, Rob! Thanks for the photos...those are great! What a bunch of young hotties! (And the BodyMedia girls ain't bad, either. (Sorry to clipsters everywhere...I've been so busy with the upheaval of starting a new job that I've barely had enough time for anything...not even Clipmarks! Yes,it's true...Kore7 finally left his stupid old job, sold out, and is now working for The Man! Well, a giant defense agency anyway. It's OK...we're in the business of saving people instead of blowing them up. |
