Eaglewings says:
For someone who couldn't actually 'win' his primary election, this guy surely does not have a problem being called 'President".

Check out the third picture of 'President' Obama's throne. I for one am growing way tired of all the money being spent to buy this Presidency. I think it is time that 'We the people' actually think about taking back this country from all the millionaire special interest groups.

I also saw in an email that the outside of the plane was re-painted, and that the American Flag on the tail section was removed and replaced by his logo.
Guess he's really offended by our flag.

Do you people wear a flag like a badge of honor? I doubt it, so why be so offended by the flag was replaced? Does McCain have a flag on his plane?

The flag is surely respected by Obama, so find something with merit to gripe about.

Naw my guess is he just thinks he is BIGGER than the flag, bigger than the United States, heck he might even be bigger than Jesus Christ himself. Oh wait that's right Jesus was not seeking an earthly throne so I guess Obama is bigger than Jesus himself.

No dopey, I do not, however I do look upon it as the symbol of our country, not to be burned or desecrated in any way.

BTW - I'm not running for president, he is!

You got a scoop here - "the flag is surely respected by Obama".

You talking about the US Flag? Nothing he's said or done has convinced a whole lot of his non-left-wing congregation of that.

What about his public service? That has got to count for something.

Teejay please list for me all that Obama has accomplished in public service and I will consider giving him props if there is any to be had. GO>>>>>>>>>>>>

Nice try but I am still not voting for him. His lack of leadership skills, his inability to stick to a position, questionable choice of close associations, and his less than stellar performance as a State Senator leave me wanting to see more.

Perhaps in a few years I may reconsider. At bat 504 times and only got 15 hits would be less than stellar on the baseball diamond and at lot less impressive in his ability to lead and persuade. If he took 504 free throws on the basketball court and only converted 15 of them he would not be signed to any NBA team.

I do not know many major corporations who would consider him for a leadership position no wonder he chose politics. That is probably the o...

There are far better people serving in lessor capacities whom I would much rather see elected than either candidate on the slate.
You're right, neither one of these candidates sends a "shiver" up my leg...

I like how George W. Bush, leader of the republican party has been spotted not placing his hand over his heart during the national anthem. Pictures have shown him standing atop the image of the flag and desecrating the U.S. flag by signing his name on it.

Yes, this is a very big issue for conservatives and republicans. What a joke.

Actually, the emblem that was originally on the tail wasn't a flag, it was a stars-and-stripes logo which is trademarked by North American Airlines, the carrier from which the Obama campaign leases the plane. When Obama's status went from primary candidate to presumptive nominee, the plane was repainted to identify it as part of the campaign. Furthermore, using the plane with the carrier's colors not only implies a form of endorsement, but may also be actionable on the basis of trademark infringement.

Other points: Obama's plane does have a flag on it, displayed next to the registration number.

McCain's plain does not have an osten...

Unfortunately, Title 4 (also known as the Flag Code) does not specify criminal penalties for violations of its provisions.

Rather than trying to amend the Constitution, why doesn't congress simply attach a schedule of penalties to the Flag Code? If that happened, a lot of people would be in trouble for violating Section 4(j):

No part of the flag should ever be used as a costume or athletic uniform. However, a flag patch may be affixed to the uniform of military personnel, firemen, policemen, and members of patriotic organizations. The flag represents a living country and is itself considered a livin...

Jorjor, please, conservatives never read or adhere to the flag code. They just use ridiculousness to get themselves worked up into a frothy circle jerk.

Funny how the real point of this article gets passed over by a silly debate about where is the flag. The real issue was the PRESIDENT logo on the back of Obama's chair. He sees himself already sitting in the President's seat.

I think that it is an equally relevant issue that republicans feign concern over the treatment of the flag and then use it any way they see fit and then wipe their butts with the constitution.

Republicans and democrats are equally to blame for trashing the constitution. To better state it lately those in elected office have trodden under foot the very constitution that made this country great and for which our founding father's fought for and died. The constitution set us apart from other nations and now we find ourselves becoming more and more like the nations we strove so hard to remain independent of.

I would agree to a revolution of the way our political offices are awarded. I too would like additional options to the Democrats and Republicans.

I like parliamentary systems were governmental seats in a congressional body or awarded proportional to the percentage of votes obtained in a general election. In that way Libertarians and Green Party members would be guaranteed a voice in government. This winner takes all system is bogus if you ask me. It requires so much money and organizational structure that we have ensured that only Democrats and Republicans will be the only viable parties for years.

I believe a parliamentary system would better represent the people. But you would have to a...

Watch the RNC and count how many times McCain gets referred to as "...the next president of the United States".

You mean about as many times as Obama was declared the savior of the world at the DNC?

Both parties will declare their nominee the next president of the United States of America.

I am more interested in hearing your vision of a revolution Eaglewings.
