*grin* I beg to differ. You are correct that "witch" was primarily used to conveniently label, torture and kill a lot of innocent Christians. But there WERE a few witches in the mix. Current research is showing that some of these folks turned in their competition to the Inquisition, etc. History on this is changing all the time.
