I watched it, too. I was impressed and surprised at the same time. So far, it's a wonderful show. Many lessons shown here we can all learn from. I was impressed with the one who stood up, gave his speech, and pulled everybody together. He should win the gold star in the coming episodes.

It's turned out to be a very entertaining, inspiring show. Hope it stays that way.

When the show began, they were let off in the desert, given little instructions and sent to Bonanza City.  Four kids were pre-chosen to be leaders.  Some of the kids got homesick right off the bat but other kids really stepped up to try and help out in the town.  The next day they split up into four groups, all with a different color.  Then there was a Survivor-like challenge to determine which kids were given which jobs.  The red team won the upper class category, the blue came in second and got the merchant category, the yellow came in third and got the cook category, and finally the green got to be the cleaning crew.
