hahahahahahahahaha---this guy is so delusional...with all the damage Bush has done and is STIL tryin to do with his latest round of environmental deregulations designed to profit his cronies, I find it impossible to show him any respect whatsoever--He has no regard for people or the Earth!
He should be prosecuted for war crimes and other felonies that he and Cheney have committed, not defended by this bozo.

He is right though. The treatment of Bush is a disgrace. A disgrace to the Constitution, free speech, Geneva Convention, Humanity......

That he was not punished nor held accountable for his actions is a disgrace!

Unfortunately, with this new spirit of bipartisan cooperation from Obama, Bush/Cheney may get away with all their crimes...I was afraid of this. No Justice for the people as usual. Business as usual. Fuck! As everyone weeps with joy over Obama's historic election, the truth will get buried again--the war in Afghanistan will be escalated, to my horror and disgust, the corporate/defense/Pentagon profiteers will laugh all the way to the banks, who are laughing at us for bailing them out--don't ya see--Business as usual. Fuck!

And don't forget that Bush/Chenmey still have 74 days to fuck things up--why should they change now? Why would they?

Take heart, papananook. There are people working hard at trying to get justice done. Have a look at this clip of bartendingbear's. It helped me to feel, that at least someone is trying.

Too bad--I hope someone takes up the cause of bringing The Bush Gang to Justice! But I see Obama's already oing to the right...Rahm Emanuel is a Pro-Israel (and I mean fanatical about it) hackman for some really hateful policies towards Palestinians--How is he going to help Obama bring Peace to the Middle East?

Bipartisanship does NOT mean allowing war crimes to go unpunished. Bipartisanship
means convicting war criminals, regardless of their party affiliation.

Boy oh boy....

Two important things to mention is that Bush's approval rating has been below 28% for a long, long time and everybody who would write an article should know that.

ONE
In fact, Bush's approval rating took a tremendous drop as people went to the polls. Maybe it caused more of us to think about who's a President? Who's a better President, etc.

So - to no one's surprise (at least, not a surprise to me) -- Bush's approval rating has dropped to he lowest ever recorded for a president.

THE LOWEST EVERY -- IT'S CONFIRMED .
HE'S THE MOST HATED PRESIDENT IN AMERICAN HISTORY.

QUOTE: " Bush's approval rating, according to the latest CBS News tracking poll, has dipped to 20%"

"I hope someone takes up the cause of bringing The Bush Gang to Justice!"

@papananook - you're the one who makes assumptions about others, all negative: nobody's doing enough, nobody's doing good, everything is rigged, nothing will change, blagh, blagh, blagh.

You sound like a child who wants mommy to bring his baby bottle.

The treatment President Bush has received from this country is nothing less than a disgrace. The attacks launched against him have been cruel and slanderous, proving to the world what little character and resolve we have. The president is not to blame for all these problems. He never lost faith in America or her people, and has tried his hardest to continue leading our nation during a very difficult time.

@Citizen BFK---Sorry about the cussing--but I don't think you "get" me at all. I'm far more active than you might think, even in ill health, I was out in the snow protesting the war when I lived in Alaska and have done so here in Oregon, as far as I can--looks like I may need a wheel chair soon. @papananook - The critically important elections pushed so many millions of us into a desperate, last-ditch effort to turn away from the evils of Bush.

Not only was I extremely critical of any intimation that (i.e. 'Life sucked,' - 'Nothing can be done.' - 'Voting won't make a difference,') etc. but also set on throwing trash talk about Obama back in the face of those who said it.

I even denied negative-Obama things I had no info about -- It was a 'shoot first, check out info later,' mode.

A bit Viking beserko. Cú Chulainn crazy.

I apologize for my heavy-handed, take no-prisoners criticism of some of your statements -- although you may have noticed that I popped and praised, as well, a...

@chedare - just give papananook a little Aussie straight talk and I'm sure he'll calm down. Apparently, he says, he may not be as bad as he sounds, sometimes (ha).

Re: LoPhatt -- I've noticed in myself more rage than I knew I had -- just pure rage -- that came to the surface after Bush's firm defeat.

Till it was clear he lost the elections were a non-stop debate, about issues, about personalities also came up, but once it was over it seemed there were strong feelings behind all these words and like the intense and most joyous World Cup quality celebrations that broke out coast-to-coast that also suddenly, spontaneously sprung up -- way beyond what anyone truly knew was deep inside them -...

Altho I don't trust Obama's sucking up to the military and the Hawks --and pls don't tell me he was just pandering to win--that bull 'cuz he was very clear that he would escalate in Afghanistan...this made ME very angry and distrustful...and even then I hoped he beat that war criminal. But ya gott know me to understand--I've been very anti-military all my life--and i despise the way so many profit from war. But thanks for the conciliatory effort, Bro (or is it Sister?)--Peace.

It's amazing how quickly the (*hit has hit the fan.

Iran now not happy about Obama's "nuclear criticism."

Russia will be moving up some of it's nuclear missiles to it's border with Poland (in response to the USA building a missile base there). Russia not happy.

They couldn't do it to Carter, but they did it to Clinton, and they will do it to Obama. He will get "briefed" and and we will see if he changes. You might think things have changed but the Hawks will just paint it blue and re-submit it.

You're so right, Lophatt!
We all knew that Obama would inherit a mess of huge Bushian-Ego proportions but I'm still pissed about Obama's rhetoric in his victory speech--"We will KILL bin Laden, we will destroy Al Qaeda...blah, blah, blah!" It's the same old inflammatory crap that just makes the Insane factions of Islam recruit so readily and easily--and Why? Is that shit necessary to reassure the war-lovers in the USA? WTF? I really do fear he is another Dem Hawk even if he did vote against the war resolution in '02. That seems to have been a calculated political choice rather than a sincere anti-war conscience speaking. FUUUUUCK!

@papananook - Oh, I can agree with that (your above post) totally; totally to the max.

I didn't mean to start an argument; sorry about that.

My solution would be to get 100 special forces troops, four or five helicopters and find the bastard murdering criminal -- then come home.

No war in Iraq for false reasons started with deliberate lies for the benefit of Oil and Israel.

No ongoing occupation of Iraq or Afghanistan.

bin Laden killed more people than in Pearl Harbor. Bush is such a failure in everything it's disgusting.

I'm not a pacifist so it makes perfect sense to me that if someone kills three thousand people he should be found and killing him is just fine with me.

All we know is what we have been told. This country is being run by "c" students, if they get 20% wrong it changes the whole picture. The criminal behavior by this crew has cost this nation more than mere treasure.

Yeah, Citizenbfk, that's OK..it's not personal--I'm genertally pissed off and will be until the wars are over and our soldiers are back with their families...I can't realistically expect everyone to be pacifists but I hate how 'Merikans love to win their wars, big and small. What a shame. We have lost any credibility we even thought we had. But if you really look at USA foreign policy, overt and covert, we never really had any.

It is so crazy, 4sure; folks want to "win," in Iraq but all the reasons given to get us into Iraq were lies (links to 9/11 -- links to Al Qaeda -- anthrax attacks -- wanting to build WMD's).

So what can we actually win?

Of course all of the above was just propaganda. We're in Iraq for Oil and the benefit of Israel.

Obama, IMO, was not the choice of the lesser of two evils. He was a big step forward for good -- but 'good,' ain't perfect.

Some good things already: Made the order clear to start troops withdrawals from Iraq (even before being President!). Put in AG who's a fighter against torture and wants to close Gitmo prison (& stop indefinite detentions and rendition).
