Apart from their striking looks, Toygers have the same nature as any other domestic cat although they do enjoy swimming and can fetch a ball.

The Toyger was the result of a 15 year programme by American cat lover Judy Sudgen who wanted to create a miniature tiger.

Judy spotted a wild tabby roaming the streets that had stripes similar to a big cat so she picked it up and took it home to breed with her pets.
