If you consider that it has been about 60 years since we humans first began transmitting television signals powerful enough to reach beyond our earth’s atmosphere, this is sort of the next step.

I don't really know how they plan to make any money from this concept, but for those of us that cannot afford to purchase a spot on a space rocket or purchase our own satelite time, this could be a good way to get information out to the rest of the universe.

The Blogs In Space claim is that they are the "first entity to allow everyday bloggers to transmit the news and thoughts of an everyday person into space". Simply put they will take your feed and transmit it out to the universe on their powerful deep space transmission dish.

So I wonder if they are renting time on SETI sats or simply purchasing time on another commercial transmission device. Also I wonder if it only gets transmitted in binary or if it is actually read aloud? What about multiple languages like they have done with the TV tranmissions?

Certainly of course, it also makes me wonder whtehr the NSA will screen these transmissons like they do phone calls, just in case someone is trying to recruit Aliens to help them take over earth
