An awful illness. It seems that people are developing allergies to many of the foods that have been eaten for centuries. Or is it the things that have been added to them? Or is it natural selection trying to control a species population? Or could it be because our eyes face the front and have stereoscopic depth ranging perception, we have fangs and are meant to eat meat as our primary food source? As hunter gatherers we primarily sought out meat and used fruits and berries as a filler. Then along came farming and now we are basically just gatherers. As evolution goes, 200,000 years isn't very long but it could be just long enough to begin to see the results of a bad dietary change on the species. Perhaps we need to grow a chambered stomach? Are our eyes starting to migrate to the sides of our heads? |
