I've begun the redesign of one of my personal sites and I am happy to say, clipmarks fits PERFECTLY! At the bottom of the page I am using some Javascript to scroll a clipmarks roll and it looks like it was made for my site.

Click on any of the three images on the lower part of the page or checkout the Before/After pages for some cool effects.

Warning! It is in process so there are broken links, design flaws and incomplete pages.

Anyway, I wanted to show how well clipmarks can integrate.

Hey Derek, how hard would it be to add a "target" option to the links so they are forced to open in a new window? That would save me a lot of work on both of my sites.

Ok cool Derek. The cliproll thing is a nice alternative to RSS feeds and I can see using it on other sites down the road.

What I would really like to see is a cliproll that can be displayed as it is in the center div on your site. Adds a little more zing to the list. EricW are you listening? Guess I should add this to the "Ideas" area.

Yeah, fun times. I've barely touched the tip of this iceberg they call code, but I'm about to jump into it as soon as school's over. I've been told I can get in on the ground of a new media company/record label if I get my butt in gear and become proficient. I love it so far.

As G-Money said, I'll be out for a few days for personal reasons but as
soon as I get back, I can alter the way the links are rendered in their
default state to target "_blank". Ideally, there should be a way
for any user to target links to where they like, and that interface may
also be built on Wednesday. As we discussed in a previous
clipmark, these will be the first of several changes coming to cliproll.

Ok Eric, I appreciate your consideration. Ultimately, your way of letting them specify a target would be great. I am not the coder I once was and have fallen behind or I'd just have figured out a way to do it on my end.

OK, so I'm equilibrium-challenged (childhood traumatic experience), so before I'm even drunk I lose my motor skills. And we shouldn't be driving anyway if we're drunk. I gotta offer BIG props here to EricW! I was having some issues getting the Cliproll customized exaclty like I wanted (I am a picky bastard) via CSS. One Email from Eric and everything was clarified.

Now my cliproll matches my site even better with rollovers and all!

The colors were chosen not because they are favorites but because they're in style. If you look at the skinning (Interface design) work I've done, the colors are much darker.

However you have your preferences and you are so allowed.
