Re: the last sentence, regarding the amount of info young people share online. I, too, have my concerns. Anyone reading the Facebook pages of some young people in my circle (who answer multiple quizzes a week involving copious amounts of fairly intimate life details) would have little difficulty assembling a psychological profile of these youngsters. This could, in turn, be used by individuals will ill-intent - whether to guess their banking passwords, to lure them somewhere, or to scam them. One of these young people broadcasts all this stuff to 800+ Facebook "friends". These aren't actual friends, of course, but mere acquaintances. A rule of thumb in the social work community is... POOP"s PEOPLE LOVE TO TALK ABOUT THEMSELVES THEY PEEL BACK THE SKIN ,OFTEN TO MUCH. They also use all caps too much. |
