Tylast says: About time! For some reason I was reading that as "Common Sense Parents now illegal." Glad I did miss read it hehe. This clip was featured in our experimental video version of the clipmarks clipiversity podcast, and we had some interesting discussion from both sides of the debate. Give it a watch and let us know what you think. Thanks for the great clip! One of the loopholes that permitted Amazon to get the "one Click Patent' was that of 'No Prior Art'. At the date that Amazon had filed their application no other online business allowed you to buy with 'just one click'. The patent was considered outrageous by many but mostly those who wish they would have got it first. Sour grapes at its best. No I don't think it is sour grapes. I think it's just good sense. Imagine if companys had behaved like this throughout history. Would someone have tried to patent changing rooms in a clothes shop or self service checkouts at a supermarket. It's complete bollox. |
