Geez, I never thouht about it like that. That's a bit scary. -Eagle Great tools but does make you think doesn't it! I don't see any need to be concerned about this. What are you afraid they will do to you? You're only one person. They don't touch JUST one person. That's not their aim. Anyway, all you've said is that they want to collect data. Nothing else. Anything added to this is merely unproven, even unmentioned (in this clip) speculation. No more, no less. Honestly it should come as no surprise that companies do this. People will see this and think oh my god! Google is going to take my life away! What they don't realize is that every time they send and email (not just through Google), every time they visit a web page, and pretty much every time they send or receive a single byte of data over the internet, it travels through multiple servers and data centers where it can easily be accessed, read, and recorded. How do you suppose you start getting spam a week after you create an email account, even if you have never used it before? Currently the information market is one of the most rapidly growing industries in the world. In the future I ... Good call xenofixus. Anytime you transmit information over a public network unencrypted you should assume someone is reading or collecting it. If something requires secrecy or privacy, you can protect yourself by encrypting it. Otherwise, assume it is analyzed. omg we are doomed!! Yes we are all doomed I did think it was nice of Google to Put it on and allow this video to be on Its personally owned You Tube then posted with its very own Clipmarks...Guess this video slipped under old Googles radar...Or maybe its not "Evil" enough and they let it slide...this time. |
