My parents would have been more likely to quit for the pets than they would have for me.

Sometimes it's hard to understand why people do what they do, act the way they act. I know you have a great friend here that you can always talk to about these kinds of things. I'm sure they are happy to be able to talk to you too. Friends need to be there for each other.

I have never smoked indoors with a pet. Always had pets but knew of the harm. Unable to quit I have always went outside. Yes even in the snow and Ice. If we all quit ..... there would be no money generated in taxes and could cripple each state. Smokers are not the problem! Wake up People!

Smokers are not the problem!
Try telling that to all the people who have athsma and other respiratory problems because they were exposed to cigarette smoke and infants and small children.

Jorjor- When you speak of infants and small children ... The problem is "Parenting" or the lack of not a smokers choice to smoke. Think of all the drunk Mothers and Fathers that have killed there children and many others on the road! Get off it! There are so many other battles to choose.

Zelda - fine - you choose your battles and I'll choose mine. My parents and sister smoked me to the point where I was coughing myself inside out. Maybe your parents drank, and that's why you feel the way you do.
