That sounds like a movie ending--my sister-in-law and I went to see John Wayne in "The Cowboys" when it first came out. She couldn't believe John Wayne was killed in the movie, she thought John Wayne always lived. No everything in life is not okay in the end, but life does go on, changed, not necessarily better or worse, but it does go on. Ask anyone who has lost a long-time spouse. Life isn't necessarily better or worse, it is changed, and life does go on.

Everything is not always OK at the end. It's just not the end that maybe you want or think you deserve. Maybe you really don't deserve a less than perfect ending but then life is not always fair either. As I have been told so many times in the past; suck it up, life's a bitch and then you die.
