In my opinion good sound advice. I often catch myself getting upset when my child misbehaves or throws a temper tantrum. That often escalates the situation far more than it should have. In the situation where a child misbehaves, cool, calm, decisive action or discipline tends to be more effective. But even in misbehavior it is still important to understand the cause, so we can help our child handle his or her emotions better. however, it is also important that the child understands, no matter what the cause, misbehavior has it concequences.
