house to attend a function at the Georgia International Convention Center in 
Atlanta. She called her father throughout the night to let him know of her 
whereabouts, which was normal, Mackey said. The last time they spoke was about 
11:13 p.m. During that call, Varnado told her father that she might stop at a 
club on her way home, but that she would call him to let him know if she did. 
Varnado, who is 5 feet 5 and about 105 pounds, did not call back and she hasn’t 
been heard from since.<BR><BR>Mackey, who has worked in law enforcement in 
Georgia and Louisiana, spent Thanksgiving Day putting up homemade posters of his 
daughter, and her silver 1999 Mercedes SLK230, in some of her last known 
locations about Atlanta.<BR><BR>Anyone with information on the whereabouts of 
Laneeka Varnado is asked to call the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office at
