Found on the web, so no way of knowing, but I have no doubt that many of them, if not most or all, are in fact real. The daughter of a women I work with just had a pirate themed wedding. Everyone in the wedding party was dressed as pirates. They had a great time.

They deserve one another. I bet the marriages last a long time, they appear to share a delusion. Maybe that's not such a bad thing for a married couple.

I've attended a Civil War themed wedding (in appropriate costume, of course)--now that was fun! I also know a couple who dressed for their December wedding as Santa and Mrs. Claus.
