I would love to hear more Muslims speaking out about the terrorists that have hijacked their religion and wrecking havoc on the world stage. If the majority of Muslims are peaceful people and law abiding citizenry then all this terrorism must be an affront to them.

I only have one question then to ask. Why are you not doing anything about it? And blaming the US is not doing something that is abjucating responsibility and throwing fuel on the fire.

We certainly try to deal with the lawbreakers in our country.

I don't know what this organization does and I don't much care. I and most people already know that the vast majority of Muslims are peaceful and law-abiding. They're not the problem. The extremists and terrorists are the problem. If this organization wants to do anything useful, they should convince the extremists, not preach to the choir.

I'm not sure what your point is here. You're not saying it's okay for Muslims to be violent because their beliefs permit it, but not Xtians, are you?

NO they are not. IT is not THEIR COUNTRY they have not been elected to a position of authority. They are trying to thwart efforts to establish a legitimet government so they can continue to operate their lawlessness unchecked. The Iraqi people have elected leadership who are charged with running the country. THEY are failing miserably which is why we are there to help them get established. Why is this so hard to understand. IF the terrorists want us out all they have to do is lay down their bombs and take off their suicide vests and allow the ELECTED officials run the country. The sooner that the perpetrators are identified,the more support there will be in the world for going after them,isolating them, or eliminating them. The sooner that is achieved the sooner there will not be the likelihood of the lesser intelligent or the prejudiced among us to wrongly defame Muslims,or Islam as a whole. And THAT is equally important.Both aspects of the clarification must arise mutually,and that is why these guys are needed.

I only know of one single group that is speaking out against what Bush is doing in the name of Christianity. That is Sojourner's magazine. I will post a lip from them later.

what Bush is doing to other nations is against what Jesus taught. What he's doing to the US is against what Jesus taught. One good example of this is that he is pro-life when it comes to abortion, but after the child is born, services and education funding is cut! Also, he's pro-life on that, but still supports the death sentence. In fact, as gov of texas, he executed more prisoners than anyone else in any state during a single term..

There are many other examples, as well. He is a hypocrite and has somehow gotten Americans to hate and fear Islam, which is ridiculous. I urge everyone to look into the true religion, then you will see how crazy it is to be afraid of Muslims.

It's ironic how he, and some other Americans think they know more about Islam then Muslims do.

Things are taken out of context constantly, to be used against Islam. The "infidel" thing is one of them. Christians, Jews, and Muslims are all "people of the book", and not considered infidels. That's only one example. Please study it on your own, you will be amazed at how the media has twisted things!

As far as the death penalty goes. There would be no need to put anyone to death if they do not break the law. DON't do the crime if you can't do the time. The death penalty is hardly ever enforced which makes me wonder why we even have it but it is lawful and therefore it can be used.

If you do not want to be put to death do not kill, rape or commit a capital offense. Then the death penalty would have no effect on you.

I think I would prefer exiling murders and rapists et al to some unoccupied island somewhere and let them kill each other.
