It obviously has little value if it has to be given away.

Hmmm... Not obvious at all. I think price doesn't always equals value.

Nobody is giving the DVDs for free. People are actually paying for them, donating some money, so others can watch the movie. The source site explains it all.

Now that this has been posted, they have suddenly gotten a surge of 5000 demands that they can't possibly cover since they work on donations only. I think the poster ruined this project, unless some of the people making the demands also make donations. I have my doubts though. When people see something for free they take full advantage of it.

I'm the poster, Arthur, and I don't think this clip will ruin the project, for two simple reasons:

This kind of thing needs promotion. If you launch something like this and pray for no links, the project can nearly die. In fact, it would stagnate cause it can't grow in a vacuum.

When demands surpass donations, the sensible thing to do is tell people so, and wait for more donations before sending more DVDs. I'm pretty sure that's the plan for this initiative.

But maybe I'm totally wrong about this. In case this clip will really ruin the project I'll be very sorry.

The movie comes and goes on Google Video all the time. If they take it down, someone puts it up again soon after. Put an RSS search in for it and you'll have it sooner or later.

Or else you can download a 300MB mp4 version here:

EVERYONE should see this movie. Pass it on! Upload it again yourself and then post the link again, that way, there should always be enough copies of it out there for everyone! We'll just make our own project then! No need for postage or DVD production either, so it's cheap and environmentally friendly too!

I would download, but the cite owner hides their identity... I don't feel secure doing that. Is there anywhere else to find it?

I mean the link in one of my comments here in the comment ladder. You don't have to use the site..Just click where it says download and you're set to go....so don't worry, it's totally harmless. Free and easy, no info required, just download. :o)

(PS) I happen to personally know the very nice, sweet and generous, MCA hating, environmentally concerned, cat loving, climate change believing, tree hugging fellow clipper who uploaded it to sendspace for you guys and I assure you, it's safe to download.. . You have my word of honour.

Sheesh! I thought I was supposed to be the paranoid one here on clipmarks. You're stealing my identity dudes! *LOL*
