Okay, maybe it's strange that I'm a pretty web savvy afro-american but haven't yet visited Obama's website. However, though, I've been an Edwards supporter, before Obama, and haven't even really checked out Edwards' site. I guess now is the time after having watched part of the Democratic debate this week and after starting to follow both Edwards and Obama on Twitter.

Obama only recently found a presence on Twitter and his only tweet points to his website. So, this morning, I thought I'd take a little time to check his website out. So far, I've looked at his issues page. These are some of the points that I thought were interesting.

Hmmm, maybe you should go to candidate's websites and do your homework so that you can have a point of veiw. Why are you a supporter of anyone w/o knowing what they stand (fyi-obama doesn't stand for anything, he's never voted in 2 years of senate) and do your proper hw. Listening to someone speak and having tha...

I'm not sure who axelsenzon is but I think we can already dismiss him as a nutjob.

Anybody ridiculous enough to make the statement that Barack Obama has not cast one vote in the Senate in 2 years is not playing with a full deck.

Want to see the voting record of any congressman? Go to the Vote Smart website.

whats on that site does not include votes for 'present' made by Obama (only yes or no votes), so minus the topics that dems make sure other dems vote in their favor for (ie. iraqi funding bill that is going on right now) and minus whatever other vote selling he does he votes present for every other issue. When I said he has never voted in 2yrs. what's meant is voting 'present' as appose to yay or nay on issues he should have opinions on and claims to have opinions (or now has opinions) on yet didn't earlier in his career ie20 months ago.
I noticed you didn't comment on this guy picking a party b/c of speeches as a way to determine what he believes in. speeches can be very misleading and ins...

Everybody should do their homework. But you can't discount communication as an information source.

You are incorrect on your analysis of Barak Obama's voting record. If he had voted only present it would be designated with an NV (not voting), instead of a Y for yes, and an N for no. There are easily about 200 votes recorded there.

Even according to Faux News in this year:

If you're wondering how the candidates stack up: John McCain has missed the most Senate votes this year — 42 of 126 — 33 percent. Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama have missed the fewest: three apiece.
