It never hurts to save more of your income. We should all enjoy life but American's are definitely encouraged to go deeper and deeper in debt.

I would be happy to if old Georgey Boy would anti-up cash from his wealthy family. I would have no problem spending his money.

I heard him say this and he sounded so pathetic suggesting that. Is it just me or whenever he opens up for QA with journalists, he sounds so excruciatingly dumb and clueless.

The comments on the page pretty much cover the comments I would have made here. This one was funny I thought:

The US economy (among other things) is headed to hell in a handbasket. Run to the malls everybody! Run! Yay!

This headline is the best summary I've ever read about the real tactics government and self-proclaimed aristocracy have to keep people (should I say herd?) under control.

Keep shopping, my friends. Keep shopping, watching American Idol, spending money you don't have, fighting in bait battles and looking at the flares,while they keep their plans going. Soon they will open your mail, tap you phone lines, tell you when to go to bed, when to watch TV, when to open your mouth, but you will be happy cause you've got cable and a better car than that the one jerk living next to you has.

Sad part is this trend is going on everywhere. We import more things besides McDonalds.

Somebody please shout loud enough to make us all wake up.
