As a fan of the valiant, injury-plagued (and still reigning World Champion) St. Louis Cardinals, I suppose I should take offense at this piece. But even with tongue firmly in cheek, CJR is making a serious point: the better the Cubs do in the post-season, the more the franchise might fetch in a sale.
