Just remember ya'll...once upon a time there were no lead controls, and some of us slept in cribs covered in lead based paint. We grew up ok...we're none the worse for wear.

I'm not saying that lead isn't harmful...I'm saying that the media is sensationalizing the issues.

We are well aware of the adverse side affects of lead on children. Sure a bunch of us grew up chewing on the lead based paints on our cribs but since then we have learned of the horrible and harmful affects that lead can have for growing and developing children. I welcome the media sensationalizing something that can directly affect my children to make me aware of it so that I can do all that I can to protect them.
