NoRest says: Would love to know how this picture was taken. Just unreal...in a good way. Val d'Orcia - Under the storm by Filippo Galluzzi City: Siena Country: Italy Nikon D70 Lens nikkor 12mm-24mm DX Nikon looks kinda shopped, but if it's real, then wow. AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!! It's hard to believe it hasn't been manipulated digitally, although it is pretty amazing regardless. looks like its taken in Italy; the caption says Val d' orcia; that's in Tuscany Photographer says the only manipulation is levels with PS. You can tell because of the super saturation of the sky at the horizon... This isn't shopped at all, other than a possible saturation increase. This group of trees lies 2km north of a small town called San Quirico.....the clump of trees is just as it looks in the picture.....it changes it's look and feel as the sun direction changes and the seasons change also. Ive placed a web page here of some further information on the trees and a map. http://www.casabarga.com/san_q_trees/ Incredible, looks like something out of a fairytale. |
