The idea of the universe as a phantasm (addressed in the clipsource) is extraordinarily intriguing to me. Its also interesting to imagine how this paradigm shift could be applied to questions of political structures. government is one giant illusion???? I see I need to clarify this. It's going to take me a minute. Physicist Alain Aspect found that certain subatomic particles could communicate with each other no matter how far the distances between them. This led some to conjecture that objective reality does not exist. If this is so then true power lies not in the material world but consciousness, which is the foundation of our reality. In the United States our current political paradigm depends very heavily on exerting influence over the material realm. In my opinion we are now observing the beginnings of the erosion of this paradigm and it makes me wonder what will replace it.
