This is terrible to make an innocent kid eat this kind of thing, in front of her friends none the less. The mother is unemployed and has ahrd time paying for the meals on Monday, but still to give the kid prison feed is unacceptable.

In a supposed civilized and comparatively wealthy nation better should be expected. We are not talking about a third world country where bread, water, and an overripe banana may be considered a feast.

Don't go overboard!! The kid was not left without food. or drink. Apparently it was not the first time it happened.with her If they (the school) don't do anything, everyone will start "forgetting" the money. As for the banana, the right way to eat it is when it is dark brown. It's at its flavor's peak and, no, it is not rotten.
