BartendingBear says: Interesting thoughts. Truth can be a soul-sapping drag.It does tend to put a damper on stuff baby. I don't agree (w/the article), but then, I have a freak for a wife, so I'm pretty much happy. Ha ha ha ahaha ha ha. And the world is so beautiful to me it's one of the few things I am infinitely grateful for. It's the shear beauty of the thing! Even my computer screen to me is beautiful. Maybe that's why I'm partial to hallucinogenics. Oops! Better go. Aces sugar? Is this your wife? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=75qXUfp4wtw You know Debby could star in this video if she wanted . . . Oh, I brought her home to Moma. They never liked each other. But my Dad just grinned, and never said nothing. The 21st was our 16th anniversary. Oh so very true. So that is why I am always depressed - I have a true view of the world? When I was homeless at 18 I SAW the real world. I stopped assigning associations to things and saw them as objects. I find that the only relief I get is if I don't think about it too tightly. Indeed, knowing the "truth" about the way things really are can be quite a downer. If fact, quite a b---h! While I do rant occasionally about said "dumb-dumbs" who may not know ---- anything --- about --- anything ---! I do understand. Many times, I don't want to know the truth or think, because it can get quite uncomfortable. And these observances are just the very tip, of this philosophical iceberg. Since I'm having a good day, I'll stop right here. Don't want to depress myself now, do I? Note: most accurate view of the world and most accurate view of how much power/control they have are not the same thing at all. It could be that their inaccurate view of the world is the very reason the have little power.Agreed |
