All societies are always looking for some sort of equilibrium and, at the end, humankind behavior is like a pendulum. What today is right for us, was wrong 50 years ago but it would have been considered prude 300 years ago. The problem is, I believe, the speed those changes come upon us these days. Before it took generations to go from a set of rules to a completely different one, with slow changes. Now, it takes not even a generation. The values we learned as kids are obsolete right now. Hard times for those not open minded...

Their art including the sexually explicit and, as I understand it, formerly revered carvings is so beautiful and sensual and now they can't kiss. I don't get it. Are these ideas left over from the English colonization?
