I have heard of this theory before.
Is this going to be an accepted theory ?

Maybe this is why the ancients had a mortal fear of comets.

Anothe fine example of the decline of research - the article suggests that the comet instigated the start of the recent ice age - but 12,900 years ago Canada was already in the depths of the recent ice age that started long before.

I mean this is such a basic fact that is incorrect at the beginning of the article that one cannot take the rest of the article - and dare I say - associated research, seriously.
