As beautiful and feminine as a woman can be. Thanks. Most assuredly the ultimate ingenue the silver screen has ever seen. I think I only watch one film of hers and that was breakfast at Tiffany’s. She was pretty and the movie was sweet. Nice nostalgic clip. Are you aware that actress like, Angelina Jolie, Nicole Kidman, Charlize Theron, Halley Berry (I can’t think of other leading ladies), will be seen in similar light in 30-40 years time. I sincerely doubt that. While each has her qualities of note, not a one you have listed has anywhere near the inherent innocence or class, or has played a role which allowed such to shine through like Audrey. If you want to see another of Audrey's tour de force outings, I'd strongly suggest the classic "Charade". Here she is paired with Cary Grant, another screen star who defined a personality no other actor has ever been able to approach. Suave, debonair, approachable, kind and strong all at the same time. I doubt it also. And I'm not sure "innocence", "dignity" and the like are qualities considered admirable now-a-days. She was sexy with a glance, a tilt of her head, or a wave of her hand. There was truly something special about Audrey Hepburn. She wasn't just another pretty face. |
