One more example, that she has no clue what a conflict of interests is, mixing personal and governmental. Heartbeat...

Just amazing.

And we're electing this person as a potential president of the United States of America, the most powerful nation on the face of the freaking earth!

Mind Boggling.

And btw, wait for right wing to spin this story: it is the hacker who is the problem, irrespective of the fact that government official at the such high level shouldn't really be using Yahoo email to conduct business in the first place.

I thought everyone with common sense had their work email separate from personal email.

So...somebody breaks into my house, it is my problem...not the thief's. Go figure.

No, that's not the first problem. You were not in your house, you were in someone else's house where you shouldn't be in the first place.

It is common knowledge how to "hack" a yahoo email account. I actually wondered whether they wanted her email to be hacked to find particular emails that would actually support her cause, while claiming "foul" for the hack job. It is actually easier to believe that instead of believing that she would be so stupid as to use yahoo for any personal or important business.

It shows poor judgment if Palin used yahoo for any important email, personal or otherwise.

I didn't know hacking Yahoo is common knowledge. I very much doubt. She got hacked because she's a public personality and more so after her nomination. The hacker here used a very common and old technique to reset the password, the technique is hacking 101 but it only works when you have much of your life posted up on internet. The hacker must also be very smart to fool Yahoo with very few tries, though I assume Yahoo should be smart enough to disable the account after few tries.

All in all, this is a bad PR for Yahoo, bad PR for Palin, and a very good case for all the politicians to act up when it comes to technology.
