honestly, i think that even plastic water bottles are scary, and in the future we will find them among the carcinogens too...

There are and many professional chefs still swear by them.

Cook your foods in good quality (or better) stainless steel pans and store foods in glass. Pyrex is still great, freezer, oven, table.
