Well, I am going to carry on as usual, unaffected, as are most.
As for the paranoid, my suggestion would be to come out or their dark and cynical imaginings and look around them at the real world.

Yeah, as I said, it produces dark and cynical imaginings, which then produce more fear. A vicious cycle.
