They tried this way back with passport, but that failed as people did not want Microsoft controlling their information. This will also fail unless it becomes an open standard. They are only supporting IE7 and Vista. That means in order to use it, you will need to upgrade to both poroducts. So that leaves out the Mac users and Linux users. Considering that many are using Firefox, Opera or Safari - their system will not work. It is another hidden attempt to find a way to control the desktop. Just my opinion.... |
