chestnut501 says: $2.4 million in executive payments due next week It is very disturbing to sit out here in this economic wasteland of increasing job layoffs, increasing mortgage foreclosures, increasing consumer prices, and decreasing buying power while a company that our taxpayer dollars bailed out hands out employees bonuses. It's just a big party to them and the American taxpayers are not invited. I don't know what bothers me the most, not being invited or their not caring what we think. I was furious when I heard this on the news last night. I was laid off with 9 other co-workers, while the remaining co-workers were expected to take a 5% cut in pay. The least these fools at AIG could do is forego the bonuses. HELLOOOooo. It's bullshit, pure bullshit. God forbid that an AIG exec should friggin' do a little starving. grrrr..... gimme some hair to pull. ....there are many things that we Americans would also like..........for instance, firing every Senator and Congressman and starting all over.......but are we going to get what we want??????? Since when do we bow to AIG or any other greed induced company looking for our hard earned money. We need to take control...........NOW. We aren't slaves to the elite........unless we allow it. |
