As usual, I enjoyed reading the comments section to the article as much or more than the actual article. Wonderful idea ... wonder if it will ever come to reality.

I think it has good possibilities, but it's going to take awhile

It will never come to reality - rational preventive actions (which will be possible through virtual space) will eliminate not only diseases but medicine itself for good; although people will suffer from little deviations in health or it may be called somehow else... How they gonna die - that is separate question.
