Mongrels. I don't like snakes greatly but they are a very important part of the ecology and these bloody things are upsetting that balance. Black snakes also hunt them and die which means they can't keep the browns ( mad buggars) under control.

Cane toads exude poison through the skin. Crows have learnt to roll them on their backs and eat the under part (which does not exude poison, as it would brush off against the ground etc.
