The fair had the usual rides, but even better, it always had sideshows. I remember The Bearded Lady, The Blood Sweating Hippopotamus, The World’s Tiniest Woman and The Strippers. I wasn’t old enough to get into the stripper’s tent and I tried to sneak in every year, but never managed to make it.
