The Hand I will always remember. It was the year before my Mother died and I took her to the mountains in New Hampshire that she loved so much. It was peak foliage time and a beautiful bright sunny day, one could not ask for a better day. My Mother was 87 years young and she weighed about the same. On the way home I looked at her hand and it was so frail. I reached over and held her hand and we didn't talk but I could feel so much strength from that frail little hand. I will never forget that strength and those soft blue eyes. I have thought of that several times over the years since she has passed on.
