They do look nice when you're all dressed up for a special occasion or depending on where you work but for every day they are a pain in the butt.

If Michelle likes pantyhose I'm going to have to find an alternative.

Since I'm a trouser/pants woman, decorative socks and knee-highs are good for me. Fancy dressing draws attention; which I do not like. If I'm comfortable, feel good about myself when I look in the mirror, and Husband thinks I look "great"...

Empire-waist...gosh, that is soooo late sixties. My Mom made me beautiful empire-waistline dresses and they were the rage at Finishing School.

There is 'nothing new under the sun'.
