I look around the world today and I’ve noticed that it is full of people like Megan.

Wow. A kindred spirit.

These are the PodPeople. They're everywhere. Converted in the daycare centers, nurtured by the public school system, and in the "care" of the large children they live with undeservedly called "parents".

I recommend reading the rest of the post at the source site as well. Excellent clip.

Thanks for the note, bigb0b. Besides explicitly saying so, is there any convention among clippers to inform about the original text continuing at the source site?

I've seen some use of "[P]" in the clip title, but I'm not sure about its use.

Please, help us the newbies (no irony).

Kankamuso, I often add [excerpt] in the Remarks Field when saving a clip to denote that the clip isn't a full representation.

I use [P] after a clip title to denote that the clip is a clip of a clip containing the entire article which is to large to qualify for "popping". The [P] simply stands for "pop"

These are just a couple of methods I came up with to deal with the pop limit when it was first imposed. Feel free to use these or methods of your own.

Great! Thanks a lot, Godfrey. I think using [excerpt] is cleaner and using [P] is better for archiving purposes. I'll use both.

I have one criticism, though. I don't like the use of male genitalia in place of the word courage; something that women can have in abundance.

Welcome back to The Clip, Lightblack

Godfrey: I don't remember the show (I heard it through EricSkiff at one point since I rarely watch TV), but there was one show where one female addresses another, and instead of saying "That took balls", she said, "That took eggs." I'm not sure why that hasn't caught on in mainstream language, cause that's a damn good phrase imo! lol.

Well, it's cute as a joke response, but makes as little real sense as the original.
