Marking 2008 as the city's year as European Capital of Culture, Tate Liverpool is opening Britain's first comprehensive exhibition of the work of Gustav Klimt. Featuring many of his typically opulent portraits, the exhibition highlights Klimt's position as the founder and leader of the Viennese Sezession, a progressive group of artists and artisans. Klimt opens on May 30.
